Monsoon Wedding

The movie was directed by Adam shankman, written by Pamela Falk and Michael Ellis and was released on 26th of Jan 2001.The movie featured (Jennifer Lopez) Mary fiorce as the wedding planner,(Mathew McCoraughey)Steve Edison as the doctor ,(Bridgette Wilson) Fran donolly as the future bride and (Justin chambers)as the friend of the wedding planner. The movie was made in a budget of $35 million and it had the box office success and earned more than $60 million.

The story is about the wedding planner Mary, who is very much dedicated towards her work; she is very hardworking and just keeps the motive to arrange an eye catching event. Mary on the way escapes from a drastic accident and Steve Edison saves him and they spent the whole evening in the park and Mary falls in love with him. The next day fran donolly the client and friend of Mary calls her for planning the wedding; this wedding is the biggest one of Mary’s carrier, and the groom here is Steve Edison the handsome doctor.

Fran being Mary’s friend  she decides of planning her wedding and goes on for preparation ,meanwhile Mary brokesup with his would be fiancé and then one night Steve confesses Mary of his love .Mary denies his love and reunites with his childhood friend Massimo who proposes her for marriage. Meanwhile Steve Edison and fran donolly breakdown from there marriage as both have many doubts regarding there marriage. Steve rushes to the place were Mary and Massimo are wedding and stops them and proposes Mary for marrying him.

The movie is all about wedding and it consists of how the great day in Mary’s carrier becomes the worst one. The wedding planner movie gives a rough summary of what does the wedding actually consist of, from love to planning. There is a very good chemistry between Jennifer Lopez and Mathew McCoraughey and the star cast is fabulous, the movie is a romantic movie with a comic touch.
