If the bride’s veil is white, the groom will be wearing black trousers, a white shirt with white cravat and white waistcoat and a blue or black coat that has a ‘flower hole’. Tailcoats are not in fashion anymore but can be opted for that vintage touch. If the groom is in the armed forces, the uniform will do just fine and add to the glory.

The wedding invitations for a Victorian wedding have a theme as well. The card has a beautiful embossed border with a floral touch and the text is mostly formal and engraved. Your card can even have a beautiful Victorian era poem. You can also choose favors that belong to theme of that era.

Flowers are an integral and one of the most important aspects of a wedding, especially the Victorian since the flowers chosen carry a meaning. The flower girls can also carry flowers of your choice. In the old Victorian customs, the bride and her party would enter the venue on a carpet of blossoms.
